The Mountain > About Mountain

Poley Mountain is located 10 kms outside of Sussex, New Brunswick on the Waterford Road. Poley Mountain is well known as the premier ski resort in Southern New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada. Sussex is well known as the dairy center of the Maritimes which prides itself on warm Maritime hospitality. The town is centrally located between New Brunswick's 3 major cities - Moncton, Saint John and the capital city of Fredericton.

This summer we cut the trail for the new chair lift - and 6 beautiful new trails that go with it! We need the continued support of our season pass holders - and new pass holders to make this dream a reality! Please continue to support the hill, and encourage your friends to do the same - remember-if you ski 7 or 8 times a season - it is more economical to be a pass holder - plus it gives you great flexibility! Hope to see you on the slopes!

Driving Directions:

  • From Moncton - Take exit 198 (Sussex Corner) and follow the blue skier signs
  • From Fredericton - Take exit 193 into Sussex and follow the blue skier signs
  • From Saint John - Take exit 192 and follow the blue skier signs.

The route is very well signed with blue skier signs!  Just follow them and you will have no trouble locating our "Mountain of Fun"!
