Testimonials

The skiing, was, excellent, although a bit tough due to the heavy snow. Your staff, as I've come to expect in prior years were all cheerful and eager to do their best.

Great conditions, friendly staff, keep up the good work!!

The following is a letter from Charly to her mom.

Dear mum,

I really want to go skiing more with you this year.  We could also bring our friends sometimes!  If you will do that it would be wonderful!

We could have a lot of fun if we went over jumps without even hitting high air!  We could also go really fast while doing twirly twisty smooth turns.  It is not dangerous, as long as you do turns and don't go too high in the air when you hit jumps!

Poley Mountain has wicked service too!  We could get quesadillas with fried chicken, vegetables and more delicious stuff in them!  There is even a choice of sour cream or salsa on the side.  The hot, homemade fries are amazing!  "Oh my" I forgot the creamy hot chocolate with yummy whipped cream and melted chocolate on top.  THATS my favorite!

Skiing is also wonderful exercise!  We could even get our gear on at Joan and Scott's house and walk to Poley from there.  Besides, it's only 2 minutes away.  Skiing gets you in shape by moving your body around and getting fresh air.

Remember, we could get great service, and spend more time together.  I hope to ski more with you this year!

Charly

"I just wanted to send a quick note and tell you how impressed I am with the hill this year...Top notch guys running the chair (actually knowing what they are doing) and the new trails are incredible and a blast.

I have been skiing Poley since as long as I can remember and it has never looked so good and been as much fun to ski as it has been this year.

The entire staff needs a pat on a the back and a large congrats for what I feel has been an outstanding job....it looks good on you.

Sad to see the season end but can't wait to see what you guys do next year!!!

Signed,

One Happy Skier"

The following is a letter from Nicole Gautreau on behalf of MAGMA

On behalf of the students and staff of the Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area Inc. (M.A.G.M.A) we would like to send our most cultural thank you to yourself and all the staff at Poley Mountain.

The dedication and patience from the front desk to the hill and back was greatly appreciated. The students didn't want to go home; I think they would have stayed for days on the hill. That day, you had the world on your slope from Togo, Thailand, Myanmar, South Korea, Columbia, Turkmenistan, Algeria and Chad - most had never seen a pair of skis in their lives. It was truly an experience for them. I know some will return. We are hoping to make this an annual event for the students.

Once again, thank you very much. To note - Sergey, Ben, Tracy and Lisa were absolutely wonderful.

A special thank you to Jim, for making this all possible.
